Of course, laws require that one must be at a legal age.
But in your opinion, what do you think the minimum age must be to use slot machines and gamble in a casino? Just want your opinion.

18. If you are old enough to die for your country, you’re old enough to do every adult activity that is legal to the rest of us.

18…as with anything, there has to be limits, especially if something can easily become an addiction.

I would say 25. most people who are 21 are still too young to make these decisions. gambling does nothing but eats your money. most people who are addicted to gambling get a high off of it and they are generally filling an empty void in their lives.

Personally, I feel 12-16 is a safer age to gamble than 18+. People with bills and families are gonna lose a lot more than a teen having some fun. I think the Gambling age should be dropped to 16 at least. I know i was equally as capable of gambling at that age. And if you lose all, no one else is affected.

Isn’t it eighteen? If 18 is old enough to vote and to die in war it should be old enough to get into a casino.

Well until you’re 18, all of “your money” really belongs to your parents/guardians. So I’d say it’d have to be over 18. Then there’s the issue of when are people usually ready to handle the concept of risk vs. reward, consequences of their actions, etc. I think some people would be responsible gamblers at 18. Yet, some people who are in their 30’s are not responsible gamblers and lose much more money than they can afford…sometimes even losing money they borrow or worse. But in general, most people seem to gain the will power and sense of responbility somewhere between 16 and 25. I think 21 is a good age. However, one change I would make to current law is to allow people 16 to 21 or at least 18 to 21 gamble if accompanied by their parent/guardian….maybe even with anyone over 25.

The reason people put an age limit on gambling is because poeple can get obsessed with the game and/or make poor decisions. I think the age of gambling should be around where a person has matured and understands thier risks, so probably around 16-18 years old. But it really depends if those kids are really idiots or not lol, so 25 is a good age too.
Hope this helps ;D

I worked in a casino for over 7 years. It is SAD to see people lose money. I think that they should close up all the casinos. If we did without casinos maybe people would have money in a savings account…
